Asus has unveiled a lot of new products at the ongoing IFA 2019. The first product that caught our fancy was the Asus ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition which is a special edition of the Asus ROG Phone 2 and gets 1TB of storage and a special matte black paint job.It packs a 6.59-inch 120Hz OLED display that should deliver an even smoother performance than the 90Hz screen of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
the phone features Qualcomm’s latest processor, the Plus version of the Snapdragon 855 that powers the Note 10. The Snapdragon 855+ is paired with an Adreno 640 GPU that should be more powerful than the 855’s regular GPU. A new 3D vapor chamber should handle all the excess heat the phone generates.
ASUS ROG Phone II is a successor to the original ROG Phone which launched last year.If you’re a user who really cares about their device being unlockable or not, then the fact that there is already a bootloader unlock tool and kernel source available will excite you. If you prefer your phone to look more like stock Android, ASUS has included that option as well at setup, so that you don’t need to deal with ROG UI if you don’t want to. You even get a headphone jack, two USB-C ports, a massive 6,000 mAh battery, and AirTriggers – physical buttons which can be mapped to touch inputs.
